Mr. Griffis' Message

Dear Crestwood  Families,   

It is our mission that our school will be a “home away from home” for students, staff, families and community members and a place where the climate provides personalized learning for every student, built on strong student, staff, and family partnerships. 

Crestwood Intermediate School will be a place where students, staff, parents, administrators and community members work together and take ownership developing and maintaining a dynamic student-centered learning environment.  

It is our collective responsibility to ensure we do “whatever it takes” to prepare our students for their next steps in life. It is our goal to work alongside students and ensure they remain strategic readers, flexible problem solvers, and motivated life-long learners who are capable of successfully navigating themselves throughout the 21st Century World and beyond. 

The CIS staff is personally challenged, inspired and motivated to help grow our school by growing every child, every day. 

It is our hope that as the school year is well underway that the CIS staff and myself have demonstrated that we’ve tried our best, were committed to the education of your child socially, emotionally, as well academically, and that we’ve provided a caring and nurturing environment for all stakeholders.
